DisplaySearch announces conference dates

DisplaySearch’s DisplaySearch HDTV Conference 2005 will take place Aug. 23-24 at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.

Participating in this year's event are movie studios, broadcast and cable networks, broadcast equipment manufacturers, satellite and cable companies, TV retailers, TV manufacturers, panel/imager suppliers, TV electronics producers and market and financial analysts.

Among the presentations to be offered:

  • Expanding Current and Next Generation HD Content — Canon, CBS, Disney, ESPN HD, HDNet and HDTV Magazine;
  • Distributing HD Content - Challenges and Opportunities — ABC, CBS, EchoStar, HDTV Insider and ROAM Consulting;
  • Lessons from the Channel — Amazon.com, Bjorn's Audio/Video Home Theater, Dell and Ultimate Electronics.

Mark Cuban, co-founder and president of HDNet, as well as Jim Sanduski of Samsung Electronics, Greg Gudorf of Sony and Jeff Cove of Panasonic will deliver keynote speeches.
