DG Systems is integrating Vela's CineView Pro XLe MPEG-2 decoder in its DG Spot Box, a triple redundant distribution system for video that the company says enhances video delivery services for advertisers and broadcasters.
The CineView Pro XLe includes digital video output, embedded audio within the SDI output stream, audio/video level control and SMPTE time code output. Also featured are Dolby Digital audio decoding and genlock support.
