Dallas' CBS affiliate KXII-TV has purchased a pair of Media 100's 844/X editors to use in its news and local ad work.
One of the reasons the station, which works exclusively in D-9, opted for the 844/X was that the system boosts image quality for the DV format. The 844/X features real-time compositing, 10-bit image and native integration with graphics systems. Its Photoshop layer import capability streamlines the editing process for graphic artists.
