Cox Newspapers, publisher of 17 daily and 26 nondaily newspapers, has teamed up with Quattro Wireless to launch 19 mobile newspaper Web sites.
Included in the new mobile sites are Statesman.com in Austin, PalmBeachPost.com in Palm Beach, FL, and DaytonDailyNews.com in Dayton, OH. The Cox announcement is the latest in a series of moves by newspapers and news organizations to leverage mobile technology more effectively.
