A state-of-the-art control room facility is now fully operational at Connecticut Light & Power. HB Communications, a New England-based systems integrator, selected the PiC Projected Images Command/Video Wall from Large Screen Displays for the installation. Large Screen Displays claims that the order, valued at close to $350,000 for the company’s products and services, is the largest order to-date for its control room design screen framing system – the PiC EZ ThinLine Culumn Seamless Technology. Culumn technology incorporates traditional cube framing systems into a column type approach to minimize image separation.

The installation features three separate Command/Video Walls of eight projection systems each for a total of 24 Christie RPMs Series projectors arranged in an array of two screens vertically by four screens horizontally. Each of the three resulting video walls presents a total screen image size of approximately 5.5x14 feet wide.
