Chyron introduced the real-time HyperX multi-format CG platform, which delivers SD and HD solutions using high-speed bus architecture with an advanced 3-D rendering engine technology.
The HyperX can be configured as an SD or HD-only CG or can output both SD and HD simultaneously. A typical configuration might include two SD channels, an HD channel and an SD clip player.
The product can be configured as a real-time HD CG. It can also be coupled with Clyps-HD, Chyron’s new HD graphics clip server. Both devices can be controlled by Lyric, Chyron’s format-independent content creation and playout software. The product is expected to ship with SD cards in May, and with HD cards in June.
