Christie hits the road with display systems

Christie is embarking on a multicity road show this month to demonstrate its latest-generation control room products. From California to Texas, to Georgia and Washington, D.C., the company is offering dealers a unique opportunity to see live demonstrations of the latest in control room solutions.

The three-week tour will offer hands-on demonstrations of Christie's TotalVIEW control room solutions and new single-chip and three-chip DLP rear projection displays.

The tour runs from Oct. 25 to Nov. 15 and travels to:
Orange County, CA (Oct. 25)
Dallas (Nov. 1-2)
Atlanta (Nov. 7)
Washington, D.C. (Nov. 14-15)

At each stop on the tour, Christie field application engineers and control room system experts will provide technical overviews and demonstrate the high-performance XGA and SXGA+ rear projection displays (the industry's first three-chip DLP HD rear projection system designed specifically for control room applications). The Christie TotalVIEW DLV1920-DX rear screen projector features native HD 1920 x 1080 resolution that provides a remarkable 41 percent increase in resolution over SXGA+ systems.

Appointments are by request, with hourly presentations from 10 a.m. to 5 pm. The first 20 registrants for each location will also receive a complimentary copy of “Audiovisual Best Practices: The Design and Integration Process.”

Christie's newest line of control room products is scheduled to begin shipping in November 2006.
