Chinese state broadcaster chooses Red Bee Media to brand Beijing Olympics

Red Bee Media is collaborating with CCTV to create an identity for the Beijing Olympic Games
China Central Television (CCTV) has contracted Red Bee Media as a creative partner for the Beijing Olympics.

China Central Television (CCTV) has hired Red Bee Media as the official creative and production partner for the Beijing Olympics — this means creating all the title sequences, graphics and branding for one of the world’s largest broadcasters.

In an international collaboration, Red Bee Media will create and produce the main opening title sequence for CCTV’s Olympics programming along with a comprehensive package of about 300 information graphics. The information graphics will be rendered on an Orad 3-D real-time graphics system.

As well as the opening title sequence, Red Bee Media will be creating and producing a complete family of information graphic templates, including a design theme for all CCTV’s Olympics program graphics.
