Chelsea TV Studios Buys Studer Vista 8
By TVTechnology published
Chelsea Television Studios' Studio A has added a Studer Vista 8 digital live production console.
Eric Duke, president of the Manhattan studio, purchased the second console after buying one for the studio's mobile production division, All Mobile Video, that went into a 53-foot triple expando "Celebrity" truck used in the final episodes of "The Apprentice," Donald Trump's reality show and "The Contender" which featured Sly Stallone.
The Vista 8 offers a central control bay, extended output metering and matrixing and more and extends the on-air features of the Vista 6 with the automation features of the Vista 7 to create a multipurpose broadcast desk.
