Fans of the CBS crime drama "CSI: Miami" can now play the part of forensic specialists along with the show's characters.
CBS.com and Gold Pocket Interactive have developed a Web application that includes interactive features and opportunities to win weekly prizes, such as DVD players or a walk-on role in the series. Viewers can log on to the network's Web site and participate in the episode's investigation by ferreting out evidence, answering forensic science questions and attempting to solve the mystery.
Among the features is a "Weekly Web Investigation" which will test viewers' ability to investigate the crimes and analyze forensic evidence, as well as "Crack the Case" questions revolving around the night's episode and an "Evidence Tracker" feature, which files all the clues collected during the case.
