KVAL-TV, a Eugene, Ore.-based CBS affiliate station, selected MicroFirst's Digital Automation System for server automation control. The system has an installed base that includes broadcast television, radio networks and stations and multimedia presentation control rooms, and streamlines workflow for the ingest, transmission and meta-data management of multi-channel content. MicroFirst's vice president and general manager said the selection of the company for a major facility upgrade is a testament to the interoperability of the Digital Automation System with existing television station infrastructure.
