Colombia’s top nationwide private broadcaster, Caracol TV, has taken a step in controlling its loudness with the acquisition of a new LAMBDA system from Linear Acoustic. The professional digital audio and metadata monitor installed in Caracol’s Bogotá facility will help keep their HD broadcasts in check.
The LAMBDA system was chosen for its digital audio measuring accuracy and ease of use.
Features include simultaneous audio and metadata display, unique front-panel controls for quick movement through any channel, channel pair, or downmix, metering and numeric loudness display for up to eight channels and support for AES and HD/SD-SDI inputs.
