The new Nucomm CamPac 2, a COFDM camera-back transmitter designed to deliver HD or SD video, comes with a triple-pass MPEG-2 encoder and software upgradeability to MPEG-4 AVC H.264.
Designed for ENG and sports applications, the CamPac 2 comes with a rugged, machined housing and supports transmission in the 1.99GHz to 2.7GHz and 6.4GHz to 7.1GHz bands. It operates with DVB-T compliant modulation in 6MHz, 7MHz and 8MHz channels. The product also supports COFDM operation in channel bandwidths from 4MHz to 24MHz. RF output power is programmable from 10mW to 200mW.
CamPac 2 accepts a variety of video formats, including SDI, component, composite and DVB-ASI for repeating applications. For HD applications, it supports 720p and 1080i encoding in either 4:2:0 or 4:2:2.
