Camera Corps will launch its new Q-Ball HD remote camera system, which is designed for outside broadcasting, reality shows and studio productions, at the NAB Show.
Q-Ball allows program producers to obtain video in full HD quality from practically any location, day or night. The Q-Ball incorporates 10x zoom optics (5.1mm-51mm) and smooth-accelerating pan/tilt motors in a sturdy, weatherproof aluminum sphere with a diameter of 4.52in. It can be used upright or inverted without need for any structural reassembly, allowing fast installation and de-rigging.
The Q-Ball incorporates a 1/3in 2-megapixel 16:9 CMOS sensor delivering 720p or 1080i at 50 or 59.94 Hz with a greater than 50dB signal-to-noise ratio. Focus can be controlled manually or automatically.
