Pinnacle has updated its Liquid real-time SD and HD video editing systems.
Liquid--developed for broadcast systems--now has true multi-stream native HD editing, format-agnostic real-time effects, integrated DVD authoring, advanced audio tools and multi-cam support. The new version also supports more analog and digital I/O options including the chrome HD option with support for uncompressed SD and SD through an SD/HD-SDI breakout box.
"Liquid's native HD and native HDV editing support means broadcasters can eliminate the time-consuming and quality-deteriorating transcoding required by other systems," said Matt Danilowicz, vice president and general manager, Broadcast, Pinnacle Systems.
