The Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA) has tapped SignaSys to transition the public television network to digital.
SignaSys will upgrade the network's system to include the most up-to-date central automation, multichannel master control, disk-based media and digital asset management as well as digital infrastructure and encoding systems.
As a result of this upgrade, OETA will deliver multiple channels of programming from a fully automated and nearly tape-free facility.
SignaSys has been helping execute technology plans for more than 15 percent of PBS member stations since the start of the DTV transition, according to the company.
