Media Security and Reliability Council Meets June 2

The FCC's Media Security and Reliability Council (MSRC) will meet at the FCC in Washington, D.C. Thursday, June 2, from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. The meeting will be broadcast live over the Internet at www.fcc.gov/realaudio.

MSRC will review progress reports from its Toolkit Development and Local Coordination working groups.

The MSRC includes leaders from mass media companies, cable and satellite television service providers, manufacturers and trade associations and representatives from public safety agencies and was formed to study and develop the best practices needed to assure reliable, robust and secure broadcast and multichannel video programming distribution facilities.
