In addition to the audio delay/synchronization options, Proteus also features advanced motion adaptive standards conversion algorithms and support for 10-bit SDI, Composite (NTSC, PAL), Component (YUV) and Y/C formats.
At the upcoming IBC2005 conference in Amsterdam, Brick House Video’s exhibit stand display will include Proteus, a new standards converter.
Recognizing industry concerns over lip sync errors, Brick House Video has added audio delay and synchronization (up to several seconds) to the compact unit.

In addition to Proteus, Brick House Video will show the Callisto range of hybrid SDI/composite switchers at IBC, including the new portable Callisto-P, with separate analog and digital inputs, frame synchronizers and a DSK as standard features. The Callisto family is also 525/625 (NTSC/PAL) compatible.
