WOFL-TV, a Fox Television O&O in Orlando, Fla., has implemented an all-digital workflow from Avid.
As part of the deal, the station purchased an Avid Unity for News shared-storage media network with 8.64 TB of storage with TransferManager and Media Manager, four Avid NewsCutter Adrenaline systems, four NewsCutter XP systems for craft news and field editing, two AirSpeed systems for ingest and playout for digital content and four Avid Media Composer Adrenaline systems for editing and finishing promos. The station went live with the digital workflow in April.
The Fox Television Station group is comprised of 35 stations in 26 markets, covering nearly 45 percent of U.S. homes that have TV.
