Boris FX is now shipping Boris Blue version 2.0, a real-time motion graphics application offering an AVX 2 plug-in option, enabling Avid editors to create sophisticated titles, transitions and other 3-D elements in the Avid timeline.
The interactive design experience is fueled by NVIDIA hardware for real-time effects creation. The latest version brings an OpenGL hardware rendering solution to Avid editors via Avid's AVX RT plug-in interface.
New version 2.0 features include:
- Avid plug-in integration for Windows XP Avid systems;
- Improved 3-D interactors for objects, cameras, lights and split views;
- 3-D camera improvements;
- New 3-D deformers and image processors.
