BetaFeed Reruns HD Shuttle Launch for PC

Now that the space shuttle, which had its share of issues during its recent voyage, has returned safely to its home planet, those who missed the July 26 launch of Discovery or want an HD rerun can download a 20-minute clip for viewing on a PC, courtesy of Mark Cuban's HDNet.

The shuttle launch is the first clip available on Cuban's new beta (test) site.
Users of the site (dubbed "BetaFeed") will be required to download viewing software from P2P (peer-to-peer) firm Red Swoosh. The 1080i clips in Windows Media Video HD are downloaded to a computer using Red Swoosh's plug-in for Internet Explorer.

Notification and retrieval of newly available HD video via an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) reader is an option. A third partner in Cuban's HD online download venture is storage Web site.
