Broadata Communications has announced its new ScreenLink product line designed to transmit high-resolution video and stereo audio over fiber optic cable to projectors, plasma screens and other displays.
Ethernet is used for projector remote control over IP with an additional Ethernet port for AVD system control through a Crestron or AMX touch panel.
The BCI ScreenLink fiber optic transport product transmits uncompressed, high bandwidth (165 MHz/channel), high-resolution (1600x1200) RGB+HV video, stereo audio and 10/100 Ethernet. This transmission is conducted from a central point over medium to long distances using Multimode or Singlemode fiber optic cable.
