AVCOM of Virginia, a Richmond-based manufacturer of portable and rack-mount frequency spectrum analyzers for the satellite and broadcast industries, has named Probe as its new marketing firm.
Probe is a full-service marketing and advertising agency with a client base that is primarily technology-focused. Founded in 1981 and located in Charlottesville, Va., Probe specializes in strategic marketing planning and development, as well as a full range of marketing and advertising programs. Clients include GE Fanuc Automation, GE Industrial Systems, Weidmuller, Inc., and St. Gabriel Laboratories.
In a separate move, AVCOM has appointed Pat Piper director of worldwide sales.
