The Arab Radio and Television Network (ART) has signed an agreement with TSL for two HD outside broadcast vehicles.
The vehicles, being built by Spectra Specialist Engineering are 13.5 meters in length with expanding sides. TSL will outfit each truck to support up to 20 HD cameras with six channels of EVS XT2, four VTRs, Grass Valley Kayak HD vision switcher and a Studer Vista 5 digital audio console. The trailers will feature dual redundant generators.
Jordan-based ART is known for its exclusive sports broadcasts, and the new trucks will be used for ART coverage of the 2007/2008 Saudi Premier League football season, among other events.
