ARRI has improved the handling and mobility of its Series D Softbank Lighting Kits by providing wheels as an option on its compact cases.
Previously, wheels were only attached to heavy-duty cases, but it became apparent that even the smallest Series D kit could be made more portable. The rugged nylon rollerblade wheels can withstand the abuse of production demands, while molded protection bumpers and reinforced wheelbase provide durability.
Series D Softbank Kits are designed for use with modern digital video cameras. The total wattage has been reduced for these light-sensitive cameras with no loss of control or light quality.
The new wheeled cases Series D Softbank Kits will be available in September.
