Looking to expand their business beyond broadcast facilities, engineering and design company A.F. Associates (AFA) has formed a new division targeting non-broadcast clients. The new division, called the Entertainment Solutions Group, will operate out of Orlando, Fla. and be headed by Howard Schlieper.
Schlieper will look to expand the scope of AFA’s consulting, design and integration services to theme parks, retail environments, restaurants, hotels, theaters, houses of worship, as well as sports and recreation facilities.
The new division will leverage the considerable resources of AFA’s parent company Liberty Livewire Networks. Liberty Livewire Networks holds controlling assets in post-production, sound design, music composition, satellite operations, fiber connectivity, and operation management subsidiaries.
