"Up," the Disney/Pixar computer-animated collaboration that won both rave reviews and big box office receipts in its theater run, shot to the top of the Blu-ray Top 10 sales chart its first week in disc release. It edged out a former Blu-ray sales leader that was hand-animated and released several decades before computers were even invented.

And like "Up," the 1937 movie featuring Snow White in the runner-up slot is also a Disney property. In fact, four of the week's Top 10 Blu-ray sales were Disney titles.

The Top 10 Blu-ray disc sales for the week ending Nov. 14, according to Rentrak:

  1. "Up" (Disney)
  2. "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (Disney)
  3. "G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra" (Paramount)
  4. "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" (Paramount)
  5. "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" (20th Century Fox)
  6. "The Ugly Truth" (Sony Pictures)
  7. "Monsters, Inc." (Disney)
  8. "The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3" (Sony Pictures)
  9. "Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure" (Disney)
  10. "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" (20th Century Fox)
