'Star Trek' Leads Blu-ray Top 10

"Star Trek," a sort of prequel to all that came before the original TV series and well-reviewed blockbuster hit in its theatrical engagement, streaked to the front of the Blu-ray Top 10 sales chart in its first week in circulation.

Meanwhile, four animated feature films (all but one via computer animation) held four slots in the Top 10 of the 1080p discs, led by the Pixar-Disney title "Up" at no. 2. The others included "Monsters,, Inc." (no. 6), "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (no. 7), and "the latest "Ice Age" sequel at no .10.

For the week ending Nov. 21, the Top 10 Blu-ray sales, according to Rentrak:

  10. "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" (20th Century Fox)
