Frank takes reins as managing director of ESPN International
Lynne Frank, a senior media executive with extensive experience in the European television industry, has joined ESPN International as Managing Director, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. She will oversee ESPN's ongoing expansion in Europe, including managing ESPN's investment in ESPN Classic Europe.

DIRECTV names Hill president of entertainment group
DIRECTV has appointed FOX Sports Chairman and CEO David Hill as president of its new DIRECTV Entertainment group.

As president, Hill will oversee programming, including third-party programming and original content, the development of programming packages and the marketing and promotion of DIRECTV. He also will continue to serve as chairman of FOX Sports.
