New DaletPlus News Library offers asset management, archiving

Dalet has launched the DaletPlus News Library, a turnkey asset management and archive system.

The News Library provides a solution for archiving, indexing and distributing news material to broadcasters who use MOS-compliant newsroom computer systems. News Library’s InterWeb option enables remote bureaus and journalists to leverage content and source materials.

To automate the archiving of news clips, it interfaces with industry standard newsroom computer and video server systems. Scheduled recording of incoming feeds is also available. All broadcast quality material is immediately available as low bit-rate proxy files enabling users to have easy access across the computer network. Users can browse and make shot selections. Selections can be exported to third party NLE systems for further editing.
