Quantel’s eQ, which works at SD, HD or mixed resolutions, combines editing, effects, color grading and deliverables into a single profit center.
Bravo Post Production, a post house based in London, has purchased an eQ multi-resolution editing/ effects/ grading/ versioning system from Quantel. The system is configured with the QColor in-context grading option.
Quantel said eQ is designed to deliver four revenue streams. It combines editing, effects, color grading and deliverables into a single profit center. It works at SD, HD or mixed resolutions.
About 60 percent of Bravo Post’s work is broadcast programming and titles (such as the Saturday edition of the BBC’s ‘Top of the Pops’), the remainder being high-end corporate work.
Bravo also purchased the eQ with HD capability.
