G-SAM events in August

The Global Society for Asset Management (G-SAM) has joined with the Seybold San Francisco conference on August 16 to bring asset management to the attention of publishers, consumer marketers and corporate communicators in attendance. G-SAM and Seybold are teaming up to present a host of activities to the media, print and corporate publishing industry, including a special discount for G-SAM, a free conference session and local G-SAM Chapter meeting.

This year’s Seybold San Francisco 2004 conference focuses on technology-enhanced solutions that improve the quality of creative deliverables, build on the value of branded assets and generate new sources of revenue. It features independent tracks focusing on design, cross-media publishing, one-to-one marketing and content management. G-SAM Members are being offered a special discount.

At Seybold G-SAM will participate in a panel discussion entitled “A Marketing Services Platform for Product Launch Effectiveness.” This session is free and will be followed by the G-SAM San Francisco Bay Area chapter meeting. Moderated by Michael Moon, president & CEO, GISTICS, the panel includes Stan Scoggins, vice president, Worldwide Digital Asset Management, NBC/Universal; and Gunar Penikis, XMP product manager, Adobe Systems.

Rounding out the month of August, G-SAM will host this year's second annual EAM Pioneer Awards ceremony on August 31, 2004, where it will honor Gavin Shutz, chief technical officer of Ascent Media, and Principal Founding Member of G-SAM. The Southern California chapter will also host a meeting immediately after. The event will take place at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel, 1755 N. Highland Ave., Hollywood, CA.

If your conference or event would like one of GSAM’s worldwide leadership team to moderate a panel, deliver a keynote or be a panel participant, contact G-SAM at (323) 254-6545 or e-mail. To register for Seybold SF 2004, or to view the four-day conference, visit www.Seybold365.com/sf2004.
