Egyptian Radio & Television Union (ERTU) has acquired four Ross Synergy 3 SD digital production switchers to be used during the upgrade of its OB fleet.
Four trucks in Cairo will be refurbished with the Synergy switchers. The trucks are used for the production of sports and other live events throughout the country.
The Synergy 3 SD production switcher is designed for use in large market newscasts, large mobile trucks, sports stadiums and production-intense IMAG applications. Synergy SD offers a complete growth path to the Synergy Multi-Definition switchers. The rack frame has 24 serial digital inputs (expandable to 64), 20 serial digital outputs, six chroma keyers, six effects keyers and two additional downstream keyers available. There are up to six channels of Squeeze & Tease WARP DVE loaded with effects.
