All ABC Sports, ESPN and ESPN2 telecasts of the Little League World Series from Williamsport, PA, will be offered in HD.
ABC Sports, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes will combine to televise 40 Little League games, including all eight regional finals from five sites and 32 Little League World Series contests. Last year, the networks televised 35 Little League matchups, none in HD. The schedule highlights:
• ABC Sports Little League World Series coverage will include the United States and World Series Championships, both in HD
• ESPN and ESPN2 will televise 35 games. The networks’ 27 World Series telecasts from Williamsport will be available in HD on ESPN HD and ESPN2 HD
• ESPN and ESPN2 will televise all eight Regional Finals games from five sites in four days
• ESPN Deportes’ second year of coverage will feature 11 contests from Williamsport, including three exclusive telecasts. Last year, ESPN Deportes televised six games.
