Vela to unveil new HD decoder, encoder boards

At NAB2007, Vela will unveil its CineView HD Pro decoder that can simultaneously send video in both SD and HD formats.

The CineView HD Pro decoder with HD/SD-SDI delivers advanced features that are well-suited for professionals working with both HD and SD video content.

The company will also introduce its Argus 200/250 encoder — the company's latest low-cost encoder boards designed for a broad range of applications where affordability is important, but quality cannot be sacrificed. Both boards encode a variety of resolutions from QSIF to full resolution MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 formats.
