United Media has made its Multicam cross-editing software available for use on Pinnacle Pro-ONE and DV500Plus real-time editing platforms. The software allows videographers to synchronize and view multiple camera sources and edit between them without losing their reference points.
The setup saves time in post production and provides greater freedom when editing between multiple cameras. Users can synchronize video and audio and select cut points between multiple cameras without losing synchronization between independent camera sources. The edit can then be exported directly to an Adobe Premiere timeline for adding real-time titles and effects.
Multicam is available in two-camera and four-camera systems. It is now shipping worldwide. Multicam 2 is upgradeable to Multicam 4.
