Ross Video Spotlights Production Switchers

Ross Video will be spotlighting the company’s CrossOver compact digital production switchers that were designed with small studio, mobile production and flight pack environments in mind. The new switchers are available in six or 12 input configurations and support multidefinition video production applications. They feature Ross’s UltraChrome chroma keying, dual animation stores, built-in up/down conversion and more.

Also look for the an enhanced feature set with the launch of Version 9.0 software for the company’s Vision QMD/X line of SD and HD production switchers. New features include up to eight channels of DME into a single MLE, expanded still store functionality, new warps and other enhancements.

Also new at the show is Ross’s Version 9.0 software for its OverDrive automated production control system which features GlobalView, a GUI that provides detailed device and status information for operators, as well as one-button backup system switching.

Ross is also launching new hardware and software products in its SoftMetal video server line, and additional openGear terminal equipment offerings.
