Panasonic Debuts 17-inch Widescreen LCD

Panasonic has launched a new HD/SD CLD monitor for studio and field use.
The 17-inch monitor features two auto-switching SDI/HD-SDI inputs, waveform monitoring, freeze frame/split screen and a no-blur high-speed response. Offering 1280 x 768 pixel WXGA resolution, the monitor reproduces up to 16.7 million colors. Color temperatures are selectable and have three variable settings for high and low GRB.
Other features include a menu that can be positioned to give different screen locations, two user-defined buttons that can be set to waveform monitor. Gamma is adjustable and Cine Gamma compensation is included, specifically for monitoring with the Panasonic VariCam HD Cinema camera.
