Sony officially unveiled the next generation of its PlayStation videogame player at CEATEC in Japan this week.
PlayStation PSX will be available in Japan later this year for about $720 and features an analog TV tuner, a 160 GB hard drive that can record 200 hours of digital video, a slot for a Sony memory stick to display digital photos and a music player. The company said PSX would go on sale in the U.S. and Europe in 2004.
