NAB2005 to feature Career Fair seminar

Top executives from radio and television will participate in the "Survival and Success in the Broadcast Industry" career seminar during NAB2005 on Wednesday, April 20 in Las Vegas.

The seminar will be presented in conjunction with the annual career fair hosted by the NAB Education Foundation (NABEF), the Broadcast Education Foundation (BEA) and the Radio-Television News Directors Foundation (RTNDA).

The session will focus on how individuals hoping to start or advance a career in the broadcast industry can leverage their experience, skills and enthusiasm to meet challenges and take advantage of opportunities in today's marketplace. This year the career seminar will feature Susan Davenport Austin, vice president of strategic planning and treasurer, Sheridan Broadcasting; Steve Foltin, executive director, Ohio/Illinois Center for Broadcasting; Steven Golsch, vice president, human resources, Radio One; Bernadine Han, vice president, news, NY1 News; Maria Elena Salinas, news anchor, Univision Network News; and Mickey Levitan, senior vice president, human resources, Emmis Communications.

Michelle Duke, director, diversity services and development at NABEF, will moderate the session.
