Miranda to Highlight New Automation, Processing, Monitoring Tools

At NAB2007, Miranda Technologies will showcase its new Xmedia Suite template-based graphics automation system, which streamlines both live production and channel branding graphics workflows.

Xmedia Suite is designed for news programs, including special events such as elections, as well as for branding and promotional graphics in master control. Its open and modular architecture allows scaling from a single user up to hundreds of users across multiple locations. It offers asset management, graphics creation, content editing, and real-time data management, as well as work-order management and play-out control. Television-ready graphics can be created directly from a user's desktop, dropped into user-defined templates, linked to live data sources, and quickly inserted into playlists.

"With the Xmedia Suite graphics automation, you can use the same workflow tools to create rich and dynamic graphics for both live production and channel branding. The result is improved consistency, less duplication of effort, and a faster time to air. All without compromising creativity," said Eugene Plawutsky, product manager for Miranda.

Miranda's new Kaleido-X multiroom, multi-image processor will also make its NAB debut. It allows unlimited signal repetition over eight monitors and can display any of its 96 HD/SD/analog inputs, any number of times, at different resolutions and sizes up to full screen, over eight high-resolution displays without blocking or grouping restrictions.

NAB2007 will also be the launch site for Miranda's new iControl Remote Station Monitoring, which enables a Network Operations Center to monitor multiple regional stations using rich visual and acoustic monitoring.

Miranda Technologies will be in booth SU5220.
