Leitch Extends SNMP Support to Core Product Line

Leitch has announced SNMP support for its NEO and 6800 modular platforms.

An SNMP upgrade package is now available for existing NEO and 6800 customers; the SNMP protocol signals changes in equipment status and and allows customers to use a single, facility-wide, Ethernet-based monitoring application to display critical alarms and warnings.

A range of Leitch products already support SNMP, including the X75, M-Path multiple path up/down/cross converter/synchronizer, Panacea and Integrator routers, NEXIO video servers and Videotek VTM, TVM and SQM series of T&M products.
