Matrix Intercom Made Easi
ALAMEDA, CA and CAMBRIDGE, UK (September 18, 2007)--Clear-Com® a brand of The Vitec Group plc, unveiled the Eclipse Easi-PiCo, digital matrix intercom solution on opening day of the 2007 IBC conference in Amsterdam. The Easi-PiCo is a pre-configured entry-level matrix system, specifically designed for small and growing production teams in broadcast and live performance venues that demand the flexibility of point-to-point intercommunication on a small scale.
The new Easi-PiCo fills the need of production teams that have outgrown their existing party-line systems and yet require the capabilities of a small scale matrix solution. As a simple plug-and-play digital matrix intercom package, Easi-PiCo is preconfigured with 4 Matrix maps supporting 16 ports in a 1RU frame, Interface frame and two external interface cards with a choice of two control panels and a beltpack. It supports CAT-5 structured cabling and has a redundant matrix power supply unit.
Easi-PiCo is a high-value, cost-effective approach to purchasing a digital matrix system without significant upfront investment. The entry-level system is upgradeable to Clear-Com‘s Eclipse PiCo digital matrix system, which offers up to 36 ports in a 1RU frame.
