Vaddio Appoints Matsuda Trade Co. (MTC) Japan and Enhanced Media Systems (EMS) Africa as New Distributors

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (September 4, 2008) – Vaddio, the leading manufacturer and OEM distributor of specialty PTZ cameras and high-end camera control systems used in the broadcasting, audio/visual and videoconferencing industries, appoints MTC Japan and EMS Africa as key distributors for Japan and South Africa respectively.

MTC Japan joins Vaddio as chief distributor for the Japanese broadcast and conferencing markets, providing systems solutions for the broadcast, commercial audio and communications industries. By being responsive to customer needs and keeping up with the rapid rate of technological change, MTC has become an integral member of the Japanese communications market.

“Vaddio continually grows and evolves within the AV and broadcast industries -- sometimes even beyond,” said Hideki Utsugi, sales director for MTC. “We can’t emphasize how important it is in our industry to constantly progress and develop. We feel that Vaddio has what it takes to meet the challenges of the 21st century.”

EMS dominates the South African market by providing essential products for the music, studio and broadcast markets. Their broadcast solutions are varied and comprehensive, from a community-based radio station to a networked radio and television environment, they cater to every facet, whatever the requirements.

“We look forward to working with Vaddio and incorporating them into our broadcast and conferencing solutions,” said EMS CEO Dennis Feldman. “With Vaddio we can now focus more effectively on the broadcast and AV sectors.”
