ScheduALL and Grass Valley™ Integrate ERM and Aurora™ Ingest Systems to Streamline Ingest Scheduling

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — April 15, 2009 — ScheduALL today announced that it has partnered with Grass Valley™ to integrate the company's Aurora™ Ingest scheduling system with ScheduALL enterprise resource management (ERM) software. The partnership enables the consolidation of workflows across these systems, and in turn, provides increased efficiencies that allow media and broadcast companies to do more work, more profitably.

Aurora Ingest is a high-availability ingest management system that controls Grass Valley's industry-leading server and router series in order to fit the needs of the largest tapeless production environments. The integration of ScheduALL's leading ERM software and Aurora Ingest creates a valuable intersection of a facility's scheduling and ingest workflows, eliminating the need to reserve and allocate ingest resources from multiple user interfaces.

ScheduALL users can schedule, manage, and monitor Aurora Ingest from within the ERM software interface, and booking of events need only be performed once, in either ScheduALL or the Aurora Ingest scheduler. As users modify booked items, changing the duration, name, time, location, and other details, both systems reflect the updated information. Status colors for "ready," "recording," and "done" can be coordinated across the two systems.

In addition to eliminating redundant data entry, the integration of ScheduALL with Aurora Ingest improves resource utilization and allows facilities to maximize efficiencies in scheduling the movement of media. The integrated platform ensures that scheduling dependencies are identified and conflicts avoided, resulting in more streamlined operations and greater profitability.

"By partnering with ScheduALL, we can now give users the ability to manage all of their production resources from one interface, while still enjoying all the last minute flexibility of Aurora Ingest," said Ed Casaccia, director of product marketing for servers and digital production.

"Our customers expect ScheduALL solutions to streamline operations and enable improved efficiencies in resource utilization, and the integration of our scheduling software with Aurora Ingest offers yet another means of realizing these benefits," said Andrew Tate, director of product management at ScheduALL. "ScheduALL solutions promote collaboration, interoperability, and distributed workflows, and through this partnership we provide a unified solution that enables current and future Aurora Ingest users to save time and maximize resources in managing media delivery."
