RF CENTRAL PREVIEWS SKY DEFINITION HD TRAFFIC CAMERA SYSTEM AT NAB 2009

LAS VEGAS, NV, APRIL 21, 2009 – RF Central, part of The Vitec Group’s RF Extreme business unit, and a leading provider of digital and analog microwave systems for the broadcast industry, common carrier, cable, government, military and international marketplace, is previewing its Sky Definition HD Traffic Camera System at NAB 2009 (Booth C3707). Designed for outdoor broadcast applications, this COFDM digital HD camera and transmitter system comes equipped with a high power microwave amplifier capable of up to a 60 mile range.

This turnkey system features a mountable Canon BU-45 H HD camera, handheld laptop running IP remote control software, cables, and an outside weatherized cabinet with an HD RFX-CMT-II 2 GHz transmitter. Through the use of the handheld laptop and software, Sky Definition HD is fully remote controllable.
