Harris Corp. has announced that Jens Lüders has joined the central European support team with responsibility for the video processing and distribution product line, which includes routers, multiviewers and infrastructure products. Based in Harris Corp.'s newly opened offices in Munich, Germany, Lüders will work to increase the quality of Harris support and service throughout the central European region, which includes Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Nordic and Eastern Europe (including Russia).
"Since I joined the company in June 2008, I have been focused on developing our regional presence and growing our Central European team," said Mathias Eckert, regional director, Central Europe, for Harris Broadcast Communications. "The appointment of Jens is a great addition, as it reinforces our customer-oriented approach, which will ultimately result in increased satisfaction with Harris products and services."
Lüders is an experienced video and audio engineer with a lengthy track record working in a variety of broadcast environments, including OB (outside broadcasting) mobile units. He joins Harris from TVN, a well-known OB van and service company based in Hannover, Germany, where he held a position as project engineer.
