Hulu CEO Jason Kilar to Deliver Keynote at NAB Show

Jason Kilar, CEO of Hulu, the online video joint venture between NBC Universal and News Corp, will present a keynote talk at the NAB Show on Wednesday, April 16. Kilar will discuss “the trends and technologies that are enticing content providers to distribute and deliver content as never before.”

Hulu.com is a free online video service that streams premium television shows, movies and clips. Distribution partner sites with embeddable video players enable Hulu’s distribution network. Since its beta launch in October 2007, Hulu has won industry praise for its user interface particularly and lineup of premium content.

Jason Kilar joined Hulu after nearly a decade at Amazon.com. He most recently was senior vice president of worldwide application software, reporting directly to CEO Jeff Bezos. Earlier at Amazon, Kilar served as vice president and general manager of Amazon’s North American media businesses, leading the company’s entry into the video and DVD markets. Kilar began his career with The Walt Disney Co., where he worked for Disney Design & Development.
