Volicon has released RPM 800, the latest addition to the Observer RPM (Remote Program Monitor) family that offers all the functionality of the RPM 200 and 400, with increased channel scanning rates of 72 channels per minute.
Packaged in a 3RU chassis, the RPM 800 cuts 350-channel scanning time from half an hour down to a mere five minutes. It monitors and records hundreds of video channels for audio and video signal integrity and notifies the operator, by e-mail or SMS alerts, if the signal does not conform to prespecified limits. Monitoring includes detection of low audio levels, frozen video and missing video.
