Triveni Digital has teamed with Harmonic to provide a bundled solution for low-power television broadcasting (LPTV) stations.
The solution, shown at last month’s CBA 2005 convention, is composed of a DiviCom Ion multichannel MPEG-2 encoder packaged with Triveni Digital GuideBuilder metadata management system.
It provides the MPEG and PSIP functions needed for LPTV stations converting to digital. This solution allows stations to support multiple video channels and offer advanced digital video services, such as push VOD while minimizing capital and operating expenses.
